La Vallée des Couleurs Nature Park

Located in the south of the island, this nature park offers a variety of landscapes, flora and fauna. It owes its mountains, valleys and craters to its volcanic past which can be viewed in spectacular form at the Twenty-three Coloured Earth – a volcanic ash phenomenon. The park is home to giant tortoises, monkeys, deer, exotic fish, and birds such as the pink pigeon. Tropical hardwood trees, four stunning waterfalls, rare plants and delicate ferns can all be viewed. Choose to trek through the natural wonders on foot, fly through them on a zip line, zoom past on a quad bike or take a leisurely walk down the river on a step jet.
